Prescription Details |
- Sphere (SPH). For long sighted it is (+) and for short sighted (-).
- Cylinder (CYL). Cylinder is the amount of visual distortion caused by the irregular shape of the cornea.
- Axis. Axis is the direction of the astigmatism in degrees.
- Prism. Prism is the correction to balance the eyes.
- Add or Near. Add is the amount of addition for the correction needed to focus on close objects.
- Intermediate (INT). Intermediate is the amount of correction needed for intermediate distances.
The prescription consists of numbers representing the strength of the lenses you require for your eyes, as shown above. It is important that you input all details on your prescription in the spaces provided on the website.
