Why are your glasses cost less than the high street opticians?
Because we only sell online we are able to keep our overheads low, a saving which we pass on to you. We simply manufacture glasses according to your prescription. We do not have to finance expensive high street properties and sight-testing equipments.
What happens if I have a problem with my glasses?
Just contact us and we will be happy to rectify any errors.
How do I order my glasses?
You need a current prescription from an eye test you had anytime during the last two years, your contact details and your mode of payment.
Where do I obtain my prescription?
At your local optician who will provide you a valid copy of your prescription which should be less than 2 years old.
What happen if my glasses need adjustment to fit me?
You can take your glasses to any local opticians for any minor adjustment for a perfect fit.
What material you use for your lenses?
We use only plastic lenses(cr39) but with different index depending on your prescription for thinner lenses.
Can I order prescription sunglasses on your website?
Yes, We offer different tints for prescription sunglasses and they are tinted at different grades to suit your needs. We also have photochromic lenses which react to sunlight.
I don't understand my prescription?
Most of the prescription come with the distance vision only, with a reading add or just the distance vision. If you are not sure email us the prescription with your contact details. We will try to understand it. However, it is likely that we will ask you to clarify the details on it with your optician if we cannot read it ourselves.
What if I entered some information incorrectly?
Immediately inform us before we process your order. Please double check your detail and especially your prescription before submitting.
What is your guarantee policy?
You have 14 days to claim your money back. The 14 days period starts when the glasses are despatched, the date will be on the invoice.
Are postage and packing refundable?
The postage and packing is non refundable.
What are the method of payment?
We accept all major credit/debit cards, personal cheques and postal orders.
How do I know that the payment page is secured?
We use epayment system with HSBC which is a 128bit SSL. The "s" in (https://) means that you are on a secure web page, notice also the closed padlock at the bottom of your web browser.
Can I order glasses without lenses?
If you just fancy the frame, you need to specify it on the order form. Your order will then be made up with a pair of plano scratch resistant coating lenses at no extra cost.(plano means no prescription in the lens).
Do you offer a reglaze service?
We don't have a reglaze service for the simple reason that old spectacles are very brittle and usually of sentimental value to the customer. That is irreplaceable if it breaks during the reglaze.
What is PD and how can I measure it?
Your 'PD' is your pupillary distance, which is the distance in millimetres between the centre of one pupil (the black dot in the middle of the eye) and the centre of the other pupil. You can get someone to measure it for you or use any digital camera or mobile phone equiped with a camera. Place a ruler on your forehead to take the picture, either you read the measurement yourself or send the picture to us via email with your order number.
My prescription include prism, can I order glasses from your website?
We do not offer prescription glasses with prism due to the complexity of the lenses, these lenses can only be provided with direct contact with the customer.
Can you supply me glasses with multi focal lenses?
We do not offer bifocals and varifocals as these lenses can only be provided with direct contact with the customer.
